19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
Leave it to Jesus to ask the best questions. Where is my faith? Deep in my heart, ever present in my mind and memory. Storms – we’ve all had them; family issues, ill health, financial difficulties; the list is endless. But your boat is never going to get swamped as long as Jesus is in your boat. One of the most touching stories I’ve heard was about a young woman, confronted suddenly with something that scared her, wrapped her hand around the cross pendent on her necklace and was able to do what needed to be done.
And that should be our first response, as well. When trouble hits, wrap yourself around the Cross and Him who conquered all things.
Thank you for sharing these words of reassurance.

What a wonderful way to approach life: wrapped around the cross.
