28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
“Lord, evermore give us this bread.” At the well, “The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.” (John 4:10) Jesus said, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?“ (Matt 6:25)
None of the things we worry about amounts to a hill of beans as long as we have Jesus – and we have Jesus: “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt 28:20)
So what is there to worry about?
Worry only gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere. Therefore, worry is just a waste of time. Trust God and follow Him.
